Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Jareka is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Jareka has over 15 years of healthcare experience as a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. She is well known in the community for the seven years she spent at Ennis Regional Medical Center, where she worked across multiple departments and developed a strong clinical foundation. Her dedication to patient care was recognized when she was named a Top 3 Finalist for Best Family Provider in the Best of Ellis County 2020 survey.
During her six years at VIP Healthcare, Jareka has provided comprehensive, patient-centered care to patients across the lifespan—from infancy through older adulthood. She believes in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients by taking time to listen, understand their concerns, and deliver individualized care.
Jareka’s clinical interests include preventive care, routine wellness visits, management of ADD/ADHD, depression and anxiety, chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. She takes a whole-person approach to care, recognizing that physical health, mental well-being, and lifestyle factors are deeply connected.
She has a strong passion for weight loss and metabolic health and understands the impact that sustainable weight management can have on energy levels, mental clarity, and long-term disease prevention. Jareka partners with patients as a health coach—whether treatment includes lifestyle changes, medication, or a combination of both—with a focus on education, realistic goal-setting, and long-term success rather than quick fixes.
Throughout her care, Jareka emphasizes open communication, shared decision-making, and patient empowerment. When clinically appropriate, she finds great fulfillment in helping patients safely reduce or eliminate unnecessary medications while supporting healthier, more balanced lives.
Outside of work, Jareka enjoys spending time with her two children—a teenage son and a daughter—who are involved in a variety of sports, including football, baseball, powerlifting, volleyball, basketball, and softball. Much of her free time is spent supporting their activities and enjoying family-centered weekends.
Jareka also enjoys fishing, staying active, and spending time outdoors. She values balance, routines that support both physical and mental well-being, and believes these same principles play an important role in long-term health—both at home and in patient care.
Founder and Internal Medicine Specialist
Dr. Keith D. Rigsby is an Internal Medicine Specialist in Ennis, Texas. He graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College Of Medicine in 2003. Dr. Rigsby has spent more than 17 years practicing medicine and he’s been working in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding communities.
He has focused on helping the people of his community taking care of their health in a compassionate, mindful and convenient way. Dr. Rigsby is the founder and owner of VIP Healthcare, here at Ennis, TX since 2014 and he’s affiliated with Ennis Regional Medical Center. Also, he is the Medical Director and one of the co-founders of Urgent Plus Care.
Throughout his experience as a physician, Dr. Rigsby has participated with active leadership in various healthcare facilities as a Medical Director, Hospitalist, Vice Chief, Secretary, Treasurer, Associate Director, and Chairman. He was also was recognized by Ennis News as one of its “Top 20-Under 40” and has had many more awards and acknowledgements with Ennis High School Healthcare Pathway, Kaplan University, Methodist Health System Graduate Medical Education and Ennis-Unity.
For Dr. Rigsby health and family are a priority. He’s a loving husband and now the proud father of two children.

Rebecca is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas. She is a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Texas Woman’s University. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Professional Background
Rebecca has served the community of Ennis, Texas for over 30 years in multiple roles as a health care provider.
She serves the Ennis ISD as a member of the School Health Advisory Committee and annual free sports physicals. She is a member of the Ennis Noon Lions where she can live up to their motto “We serve”. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, an Advance Practice Registered Nurse and on Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She has earned numerous awards and honors such as the 2010 Sigma Theta Tau Rising Star Award, Lion of the Year 2007, UTA President’s Convocation for Excellence, Golden Key International Honor Society, and many more. She joined the VIP Healthcare in 2022.
Personal Life
Rebecca is and her husband Dave love spending time with their 2 children, playing with their grandchildren and “feeding” the tribe.
She was taught by her grandmother to garden, produce and preserve food for the family, a tradition Rebecca and her mother continue. She’s also a bee keeper and loves providing local honey to the community.
